Can Anyone Identify this? 32 ft, 1939 +/-

If it doesn't pertain to metal, wood, wire or fabric—but it is about vintage Chris-Crafts, ask your question or give your advice here.

Can Anyone Identify this? 32 ft, 1939 +/-

Post by GMacDonald » Sat Aug 27, 2022 8:46 am

This was our family's boat when I was a kid. I remember my Dad saying it was a 1935 (or maybe 1939). It was a beautiful boat, that we spent many summers on. Any ideas on what model/year it might be? Thanks.

Sorry for the late reply... Just goofing off on the internet looking at all the "recent" Boat Buzz threads...

This must be a 1937 32' Enclosed Cruiser. There is no photo of this boat in 'The Essential Guide" (at least not the first edition), but it looks very similar to the 1937 35' Enclosed Bridge Cruiser.

Thanks for your reply! Other than having a bunch of 1950's family vacation pictures, I have no documentation on our boat. So I consider you the authority and will think of it as having been our Enclosed Bridge Cruiser. (BTW, I must have felt a vibration in the force - I haven't looked at my posting for many, many months, but just this week started thinking I should check it out for any replies. Interesting...)
