THEY are a pre made set of coil springs. 13 gauge is the heavest they make . These are made for furniture and such. They have 7 or so cliped in rows but are too...

My experiance is the tops come in different sizes and you can buy the complete kit or just the top. I use Keyston Brothers for some tops . How it works is you measure the width at the base points ( connects to deck) . Then from the hinge @ deck up to the inside of top for height of ploes. Now whith ...

A wooden, open frame is no-sag , wooden boards with braces on inner top of wood is springs. They did use both types of spring you de...

My brother and I actually went to his home and looked at what he had. There was nothing we saw that gave us any hint of patterns. Some vinyls but nothing old. We passed on the whole shop. My guess is he had some dimentions and made the early boats from those. Sure wish he was better orginized . We j...

I would try a good cleaner , Malco plastic and vinyl cleaner. I know degreases work but being a petrolium based product it is harmful to the vinyl flooring . May not show it , but time will tell. Malco is so good when used with a soft nylon brush then rinse with water. If using it on seats and such ...

Check the vinyl for thickness if its upholstery vinyl it will never stand up to foot trafic. Flooring is much tuffer than upholstery vinyls. I have used the new stuff and I do not think much of it. It showed every imperfection in the wood base floor. It glues well but too soft for flooring unless yo...

You may be able to remove some tacks from vinyl edges and get a look under the skins for details on if they are correct and original . Originals do not have staples they used tacks . Some times if they are covers you can see the original imprint in the padding .Under the padding you should find tack...
