Spot lamp part number on build sheet translation?
Anyone have an idea what this CC part number translates to? Not sure if it’s 3919 X 1# or 3419 X 1#.

Chrysler M 27 value?
I just picked up a 1939 Chris craft 17’ deluxe. It has a Chrysler M27 engine in it but I have a Model K to put in it. Curious what’s the value on a good running M27?

Model A gearbox selector shaft size?
Someone welded something on to the selector shaft of the reversing gear box in its prior life. I’m trying to source a new one. Mine is measuring tightly at 11/16” on my calipers but it sounds like the options available are 5/8” and 3/4”? Do I maybe have a 5/8 with years of crud? Or was there an 11/1...

Chris craft club burgee repo still for sale?
I was doing some reading and I came across the brass bell fall 2008 article on the reproduction Burgee flags. Are these still for sale through the club? I did some searching on the forms but none of the links posted or contacts seem to work any longer.

Bow light stamping? Can’t make out the letters
I’ve got this bow light I’m getting ready to put up on eBay and I can’t quite make out the stamping letters. Any ideas?

‘41 16ft runabout: Anchor guide fairlead?
I wasn’t really sure if they should go in the hardware section or research section. So I went with research because I’m trying to figure out what I need. I’m creating a list of the hardware that I need and the two major pieces I’m missing is the correct bow light and the anchor-guide/breastplate? I’...

Re: Round brass tag?
Thanks maritimeclassics. Probably won’t worry too much about judging, think I’m missing too many original items to go down that road.

A few more “what is it?”
Stripping out all the the hardware and electrical today and have come across a few items that have me scratching my head. Any thoughts? It looks like it posted my photos in reverse order to what I typed this. First up is this metal tube thing with a flange. It was just laying in the floor of the boa...

Re: Round brass tag?
So the rubber tube should be metal? Could this lend to the possibility of the bottom being original? It should be replaced if there are any signs of cracks but totally original. Jim I’ve been combing your website and making a list. Reached out to you about a bow light a few weeks ago thanks for the...

Got it started today. Had a couple stuck valves so pulled the head and got those freed up. Carb seemed to have been drained luckily before storing it.

Re: Round brass tag?
This is a better shot of the location. Im assuming this is the self bailer? Looks like the pickup could sit in that location. Is there supposed to be some sort of support to hold the thing in place?

Re: Likelihood in trading an A for B & K value?
Wow thank you both! Clearly I need to do better research.. drrot I think the K is too big lengthwise I discussed the option with a restorer and he said it would make the rear seat area much smaller. The boat will mainly just be for cruises and shows. I have a Sea Ray for skiing and stuff. Joe where ...

Hello from FL newbie ‘41 16ft runabout
Hello group, I joined a little while back and since things are slow with everything going on I’m finally digging into projects that have been on the back burner and I thought an introduction was in order. My father took me to a sunnyland event in central FL when I was young and it’s where my spark w...

Likelihood in trading an A for B & K value?
I have a 1941 16’ runabout. Currently have a complete unrestored running Model A engine in it that came with it when I bought it. As I understand from the heritage paper work it would have come with a Model B engine originally. From reading on here I’ve read there some advantages as normal shell bea...
