John, if you're looking for flattie dressup parts used, check the classified section of the HAMB. Lots of flattie hotrod guys around. +1 on the HAMB recommendation, and while you're there check out the monster Cadillac flattie built for Bonneville! Radical sounds! Wish my Scripps sounded like that....

There's tons of them in Northern California. Define "tons"........! Only 17 listed in the ACBS directory, probably fewer than 2x that remaining. The only boat the Furth family retained, out of 80+ in the collection, a 27' triple-cockpit. James if each boat weighed 2,000 lbs....would not that be ton...

Geoff - Put down the sledge!.....how about removing the remaining 3-arm shiny bit from the black plastic portion, via the rusted hex-head screws visible on the arms? It's all one-piece right? Then IIRC the large nut on the shaft will be visible underneath...? :lol:

I second the suggestion for McNeilly....but: you want someone to come out to your boat, and then use your parts, and then pay them as little as possible....I'm not seeing much incentive for a skilled experienced technician here.....

Don, just as a healthy suggestion for Trading Dock as well, I would increase the font size. I have perfect vision thanks to Lasik and I still have to squint to read the ads. Either that or the color scheme could also be improved for better contrast. It is just very hard to read. Jeff + 1000 on font...
