I am being told that the engine hatch cover on all year model XK's will work. Any ideas now?

I had this same problem on my 1970 XK 19. I installed trim tabs and eliminated the problem as well as having a great deal more options as to the nose postition at different speeds.

I have a 1970 XK 19 tha my dad bought new. I have restored it for the most part but need the 2 engine cover parts. Any suggestions on where to locate a supplier or used parts vendor. Byron Hundley of Lake Dallas does not have them.[/b]
